Alerting debug

In order to see activities of the Alerting module, it might be required/usefull to run the service in debug mode (or application mode).

To run it in debug mode, proceed as follows:

1/ Stop the ServersCheck Monitoring Service

2/ Go the ServersCheck main directory

3/ Double click on s-graphs.exe (this will start the graphing component)

4/ Double click on monitoring_manager.exe (this will start the actual monitoring component)

5/ Open the command prompt and cd to the main ServersCheck directory

6/ Type following in the command prompt:

s-alerts.exe > debug.txt

ServersCheck's alerting module is now running debug mode and a debug file is being created. Let it run as long as required (by support staff or to replicate issue you faced). All debug information is in the file debug.txt
