BTSCELLINFO
From ServersCheck Wiki
How does it work?
The BTSCELLINFO check type is used to obtain information from the serving cell. Depending on the type of modem connected to it at least Signal Strength (RSSI) can be obtained.
This requires a support voice capable modem. Please visit the BTS_Modem page for more info on the supported modems.
Make sure that the ServersCheck Monitoring Service is stopped before configuring this check type!

How to configure?
In the main dashboard overview, click on the ADD NEW MONITOR button
In the following screen, select the BTSCELLINFO option.
You can leave the default name for the monitor
In order to avoid false positives, you can define the software to retry. This means that if a problem is detected, it will automatically retry the number of times defined here before considering that the check failed. You can also set the interval between 2 tests. For example if you want the cell info to be verified every 3 minutes then you set the interval as shown below.
The Huawei E169 can only report RSSI data. The Falcom Samba can report additional data such as BER (if transmitted), dBM, ...
Select the correct COM port and then click on TEST SETTINGS.
A new window will open
This is a result of a testing done using the Huawei E169 modem
