HUMIDITY
From ServersCheck Wiki
Description
The HUMIDITY check allows you to monitor the environmental humidity returned by a ServersCheck temperature/humidity sensor. For more information on the sensor devices click here.
The humidity/temperature sensor is by default connected to the serial port of the computer running the ServersCheck Monitoring Software. It can also be USB or network connected. If you purchased the Networked sensor enabled packages, then please refer to the manual delivered with those packages to configure the device servers.

When adding a new rule, select the HUMIDITY check to monitor the values from the sensor.
In following screen you need to select the type of sensor you are using. After selecting the correct sensor, you will need to select how the sensor is connected. If you are networked, enter the IP address of the PC in the third field. If the USB or Serial connection is used, then enter the COM port used by the sensor.
As of release 7.11.0, the humidity check allows to be alerted when humidity is too low or too high. Best practice for server rooms is to have a humidity level between 45% rH and 65% rH. Less than 45% rH you risk damaging your equipment through static electricity discharge; higher than 65% rH the risk is due to corrosion.
