License File

When you purchased the ServersCheck Monitoring Software or the ServersCheck Monitoring Appliance, then you will need a license file issued by ServersCheck in order to use the software.

The license key can be obtained by going to your orders page on http://www.serverscheck.com/orders

A license file will only work for the version it has been issued for. If you have a license file for 8.0.X then it will only work with the software release 8.0 - not any other version. It is important that you make a backup of the installer as ServersCheck does not provide older versions available for download.

Installer

The installer for the Monitoring Software is available at http://downloads.serverscheck.com/monitoring_software/setup.exe

If you are already using a trial version and the trial version is the same version than for which the license key was issued, then you don't need to download the software again.

Installing the license file

a). Replace the original installed serverscheck.lic file, located in the /lic subfolder, with the received serverscheck.lic file from ServersCheck

b). Stop the ServersCheck Monitoring and ServersCheck Webserver services.

c). Restart both stopped services or reboot

d). Point your browser to http://localhost:1272

e). In the title bar of your browser you should see the software version you purchased. For example: ServersCheck Monitoring Software - PREMIUM Edition - v 8.0.1
