Description
This check monitors on values from performance counters on a remote Windows computer. It monitors many performance aspects of Processor, Memory, Disks, etc.
ServersCheck uses WMI to obtain the performance counters from a remote computer.
Make sure to have WMI installed on the remote computer. WMI is part of Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. It is optional for Windows NT. WMI can be downloaded from following URL:

Definition
Besides the general settings for each check, which are similar for all checks, there are specific settings that also need to be established. In the Check Specific Settings, there are following fields you need to assign with parameters:
- Counter examples - Predefined performance counter which you want to monitor pick up from list. You can select a performance counter from the list or fill it in the form below.
- Performance Counter - Performance counter which you will alone enter in the form field.
- Computer name - The NetBIOS computer name, the DNS name or the IP address of the Windows based computer you want to monitor.
- User credentials to use - The user credentials needed to connect to the remote computer (username and password).
Returned Results
This check returns one result: performance counter for selected item. The type of checked performance counter determines unit in which received value is expressed.
Graphs
When the graphing option is activated, ServersCheck will produce for this check three graphs: Service Level, Availability, Selected Performance Counter.
