ServersCheck's Monitoring Software is a browser based software. Through a web browser you can view the status of the monitoring platform. However you don't always have access to the Internet to get information you need.

ServersCheck introduces a new innovation in the server monitoring market by enabling end-users of its software to use SMS (short text messages on cell phones) to obtain relevant information about their monitoring platform.

By simply sending a text message to the GSM modem connected to the ServersCheck Monitoring Software, one can query the Monitoring Software for information.

Following commands are supported:

status : this will provide you a status similar as shown on the image

show e : this command will return the 5 most recent error messages

show d : returns the name of the monitors that have a DOWN status

show w : returns the name of the monitors that have a WARNING status

show t : provides the values returned by all defined temperature monitors

Commands are not case sensitive.

Following is an example of the status command sent to the software using an iPhone
