Description

This check monitors if for the specified URL an image can be loaded. This check was designed to monitor the correct creation of dynamic images.

Beside general settings for each check, which are similar for all checks, there are following Check Specific Settings which also need to be setup. In the Check Specific Settings, there are following fields you need to supply with parameters:

  • URL of image - The URL of the image (it should start with http://)
  • Type of image - The type of image: jpeg, gif or png

Returned Results

This check returns one result: OK if the image can be retrieved; otherwise a DOWN status is assigned.

Graphs

When the graphing option is activated then ServersCheck will produce for this check two graphs: Service Level and Availability.
